RUNNING LATE ….but still get it all done.
Madam: Rafiu!, Rafiu! shouted the madam. Where is this boy this Monday morning and he knows how busy my day always be, the meeting, the presentation, oh the client we could not get hold of on Friday and it is prominent to achieving our target. Ohhh... today is really tight.
Tope: mummy did you see my assignment notebook the one I gave u to correct,
Mummy: tope you cannot start this today, I expected you to have picked it up from my dressing table, should I do that for you? Anyway have you eaten?
Tope: No mum I do not like what aunty Titi makes this morning,
Mummy: but you know darling that breakfast is a crucial meal for the day, it gives you the energy required to concentrate on your studies, makes your brain develop well and what again tope
Tope: and makes me grow up like you
Mummy: hmmm happy cheers my darling ok … now finish your food while I get your book.
Titi: Madam, I have packed the lunch for you and tope,
Madam: go and put them in the car and alert Rafiu to get ready for us
Titi: oh ! madam I saw Rafiu running out of the gate saying he needed a vulcanizer cause one of the tyre is bad.
Madam: really, why did this tyre choose today of all days to get bad, the traffic will have built up on Akoka road, oh my God..let me get tope’s book.
Hubby: Dear what is going on you are still around, cuddling her,
Madam: everything seems to want to go wrong today, Rafiu has gone looking for vulcanizers, Tope does not want to make her breakfast, I have work lined up for me in the office and yet am still here by this time.
Hubby: Do not worry, let me see what Rafiu is up to while you help Tope to finish her meal, you will make it on time, relax, you need a peaceful mind to get things done, everything is gonna be alright.
Madam: thanks darling you are my backbone,
Rafiu: Good morning ma,
Madam: could you Please take your left road to avoid all the hold up that is building up over there
Tope: Goodbye mum, love you, do not forget my toy.
Madam: love u, darling, be good and make sure u finish your lunch, so that……
Tope: I might be strong and grow like mummy hmmm…..kisses bye
Madam: Good morning Mrs. Bello
Mrs. Bello: Good morning ma, pray you have a good day ma’am
Subordinates: Good morning ma!! Good morning ma !!
Madam: Good morning, how are you?
Secretary: very well ma
Madam: is the chairman here? conference room ready, has Mr wale set up the gadgets, has the caterer set their tables for breakfast for the attendees?
Secretary: All is set and on point, we all know how articulate and on schedule you like your presentation.
Madam: Thank you, Lord, help me to deliver my points very well and be acceptable by all
Hubby: hello darling, how did it go?
Madam: hello dear, it all went, the chairman and the clients were so impressed, we are receiving an award based on our performance in the industry this year, can you imagine that.
Hubby; I told you it will all go well, coupled with the fact that you are very meticulous about your work and God being on our side we are always a victor.
Madam: Thank you, darling, I received that compliment coming from” oga Pata Pata” himself Mr. meticulous !!!
Madam: Well done everyone, we did it, the presentation was superb. This is what I always say: let our preparation be ready for opportunity and we shall get a great performance.

Tope: Mummy !!! mummy!!! I scored the highest in my assignment and also finished my lunch.
Madam: that is my girl, clap for yourself
Rafiu: Madam is there any other things you will want me to do before I leave,
Madam: not really, my regards to your family.
That is how it went today, all went well, commit your way unto the Lord and he will direct your path, trust also in him and you will never be put to shame.
