YOU CAN MOVE POSITION AND NOT MOVE PERSPECTIVE



Desperate job seekers most time refused to align their perspective with the position they are seeking for all that they actually wanted is to change position physically, monetary wise, have some labor dignity and the community approval, after bagging the golden job some sleep back instead of sitting up to the task put their perspective in order, get to know the culture of the work environment and what is required of them to have a career. Perspective is an attitude you must generate by yourself to help you achieve the goal ahead of you. Climbing the ladder of success in an organization is not by kissing the ass of everyone that holds the key to the door but a deliberate plan of serious hard work and understanding the actual process required if you did not give this a consideration you might live forever at the mercy of people you will end up being labeled as the insecure one. Every position requires a level of responsibility and you have the onus on you to give it the best shot you can, what get you that seat should be improved on to get you the higher one, you have to bring your perspective to align with your aspiration not slacking back.

Several people tend to lay aside perspective and run after position, some we say I just want to gain admission to the university and as soon as they have their name written in the book, all they do is to fool around, attending lectures become a thing of the past, their perspective of being in the uni changed and start boycotting tutorials, postponing assignment, following the bandwagon of popular students become their new perspective and reason of their existence in the campus. Some will take this impossible route and still think they can end up with the graduation scroll.

What do you think of one whose dream is to be a mother at all cost only to come with the perspective of not knowing what it entails to nurture the family she eagerly wanted, while all that she wanted is to change position and be congratulated for achieving it but her perspective now is on how the child will grow the next day and be in that position, where she will free from the responsibility that lies with nurturing, training, being the mother that helps the child find the path to life, and face all hazards of life with the child. What a shame, this is vice versa it also applies to a man who thinks the donation of the sperm gave them the right to be the father and be called dad even when he deliberately, selfishly leave his role for others but still demand to take the first place in the life of such family, either the perspective was totally ignored or he refuses to come to terms with it. He moved position but do not move perspective of acknowledging what it is expected of him as a father.

Changing position is easy but moving with the perspective that enables you to become a success in that field is another work of its own that can yield you great joy, satisfaction and fulfillment.

It is so disheartening that people are carried away with the title and leave the content, For so many years you will see lives being recked, a promising life being thrown in a pit of despair, dejected, abandoned, career crusher, emotional displaced, you see a focused serious-minded human being becoming torn into pieces because the desired to move position leaves the mind of perspective famished.

It is known from time memorial that man will rather give more attention to the physical, feed the ego, get approval of traditions, satisfy the urge of the proud, wanting acceptance for a long time and will do anything to get fit in, leaving perspective outside as no importance,

What do we say of our political aspirant who eagerly desire to change position by lobbying, by paying a fortune whether theirs or godfather’s all to just achieve the goal of becoming the assumed rightful candidate for the office, truly this guys go through so much late nights of meetings upon meetings on how the party must outsmart the other because the members believed they have the best man as the candidate, lo and behold the position changed, sworn into office, given the best corner in the government office and suddenly become the first man to reckon with in the state but the most unfortunate is the position does change but most times perspective did not move an inch and that is why we see a project with no purpose of what it stands for only to count as a monument with no benefit to the masses. Political perspective should go line in line with the position aspired for.
