WHAT ARE THEY AMONG SO MANY?

         An act of kindness is what is expected of all human beings towards one another on earth ‘cause it makes the world goes round it makes you the most beautiful person in the world no matter how you look like, take it or leave it you gained this much peace when you make some else happy, there is this light that peep through your darkness when someone says that act you pull saves me from a lot. 

            I watched a  television series by one of us the name Jennifer Lopez this is an act called “Thanks a million”, this is one show that affects lots of people in a positive and million ways. She got some friends together about ten of them who are willing to give a hundred thousand dollars to someone who is not a family but has affected them in a special way and the person should be willing to also give half of that amount to another person that has also affected them and that will also do same to another and the action keeps going on and on. I marveled at the generosity of such mind but to think of it that is who we are supposed to portray, being a channel. Someone might say but such people earned much so they should do it but we must also know that they worked for it and do not own anyone any obligation.

        Another person went ahead to adopt children from across the globe even before she had her own child, she and her husband later had three biological children and that brought the number to six children. She took a year off acting at a point so that she can stay at home for them. Our lives only have meaning when we create a living for another, 

       What are they among so many ? this was the question of a man when they were faced with a dilemma of finding how to feed 5000men with a meal of a lad which was only 5loaves of bread and two fishes. Actually, I do not blame him but only pity his state of mind even after walking with God for some time, the mindset was still feeble. This is also the confession of some and the reason we show no favor to people because we felt our widow’s mite will have no impact and so day in day out we keep refusing to help. 

         We lived in an environment where we have enormous problems facing people at the same time their needs are staring them in the face and some might not even survive the moment. The only helping hand found might be saying, I do not have much, or what will this meager means do among so much, or from where do we start from, this is overwhelming, I will rather suggest you give that shoulder to lean on or give the listening ear to someone who only needed you to hear out or just talk to someone else on their behalf the comfort of care might even bring light to the situation rather than turning a blind eye to the matter. Many do not have a hundred thousand dollars to give to that soul who had affected their lives one way or the other but among that many, you can always be that one that appreciates. An act of kindness is that understanding spirit you tuned up to understand why that bitter colleague always acts viciously towards others and the need for emotional help or try to encourage the team players to complement each other and be less competitive with a bragging attitude that makes others feel undeserving.

        We only have one another, do not make it all about you, we should have a considerate attitude that look out for the peace and joy of one another. Most times we see the insignificant help as nothing rather seeing the influence and change it will do to another, we feel if it is not big, substantial, or expensive it will not serve the purpose, and most times we are wrong. That little drop of saying thank you, appreciating those workers whom through their labor for you help build your company, raised your children, have a good career will make an ocean, that little girl you helped train in school means you have trained a nation, some marketers only want their coach to be more humane, more understanding, include them in the strategy that is being created to move forward than making them the object of discussion like a tool. The life of a man does not consist in what he has but in the impact it makes on a general note. The lad who brought along his meal that day will never believe it will have served as a means for a miracle.

          A man named James Harrison after needing 13litres of blood for a surgery at the age of 13 pledged to donate blood once he turned 18. It was discovered that his blood contained a rare antigen which cured Rhesus disease, he made over 1000 donations and throughout his lifetime, and saved 2.4million unborn babies from the condition. This awesome act started with a teenage boy sarcasm, it might be called so then but became a lifesaver machine.we are surely created for a purpose.

       Farmers get to cast so many seeds to the ground because they do not know which will germinate and brings so many harvests, same goes with fishermen who threw many nets out there in the dark waters hoping that the nets will do justice to the fishes, Also our act of kindness should know no boundaries, no color, no age, no tribe, no status or no limit at all because we do not know whose life will be saved. 

      The world is mean already, let us not create more chaos but show mercy since we will always need one too.
