Abram told Lot, I do not want any strife with you or between our servants. Pick any part of the land you want, and I will go another way. Abram is a man that understands that where there is strife there can be no blessing.

Lot took a long look at the fertile plains of Jordan valley in the direction of Zoar. The whole area was well watered everywhere, like the garden of the lord. He went in with his flock near Sodom and settled among the people. But the people of this area are bad and sinned against the Lord. And he parted company with his uncle Abram

Abraham’s space looks dry and patched. It takes a man that knows God to know that it is not by power nor by might but by the spirit of God. After Lot had gone, the Lord said to Abram “look as far as you can see in every direction, north and south, east and west. I am giving it to you.

You are in a period of uncertainty due to the economic crisis all over the world. Many companies are closing up, many are becoming jobless by each day. There is a reduction in salaries and you are asking what is next and where do we go from here. New business could not see any prospect and fear has gripped the core of our existence. You will need to take a stand.

Opportunities are going to present itself. sugar-coated deals are coming along, chances to want to be greedy will come along like Lot. Some doors are going to be open and will be between serving the almighty or the god of mammon. Compromising the faith will look like the only option. So take your stand.

The word of God is a sure assurance for us. God has vow by his name that it will not return back to Him void but it will fulfill the purpose it was for. It is impossible for God to lie. God is a promise keeper.

Though you are not promised a problem-free life. if you pass through fire, he promised to be there with you. if it is the flood of water that submerges your faith, he still promised not to leave you alone. So either way, it is a win-win for you if you stay on God’s side.

Most times what gets you into trouble is not your need. What makes you fear failure is some values you choose by measuring yourself by the worldly standard. The pursuit of some of those goals creates anxiety in you. For some, this is the year you plan to buy a Tesla car.

To another, it is the year you have chosen to have that elaborate, exquisite wedding. social distance, rules, and laws have reduced your plans to nothing or even impossible. That has caused your emotions distorted because you won’t reduce that standard.

What does it profit you? if you keep yourself awake at night only because of impressing another person. who does not give a damn about you? there is always a way out of every matter, sit and reorganize, Take a stand.

You only need to think a little less about yourself. About your status. About your goals. but put others first. consider those you know that have no shoes at all. compared to you who wants the latest Gucci. Think of one with only two shirts that wait for one to dry before going out, compare to you who is sad over having not the latest T.M

Relax. Some issues of life are not worth worrying over. The fear you feel is due to the values that you‘ve chosen. Do not allow ephemeral possession to threaten your choice of serving God.

Life is good, so good, too good to worry away. Take a stand
