What do you have? There was no shame for the disciples to declare their financial state to the beggar. They were not interested in looking good or pleasing him. The most important thing to them is what they have. They are looking beyond the man's daily need for clothing and feeding.

They understand that if the man's physical body is not well. It will always lead to the brokenness of his human spirit.

With a better understanding, they knew that if a man gets whole. To take care of his feeding and clothing by himself will only be child's play.

I do not underestimate money. It is part of the essentials to living well, a legal tender the world understands, and it answereth to all things. But more than gold, more than money. It is the well-being of your spirit man that matter most. It is only the spirit of man that can connect with the Spirit of God.

You can only be in good shape if your spirit is healthy. Your case might not be physically lame or blind. But you might be lame and blind in the things of the spiritual. It is a disaster waiting to happen somewhere someday that marriage, career building, and social status will not be able to solve.

There is a provision for man. You do not have the material possession is not supposed to be a shame. To be unwell in spirit is a shame and a disaster. It is a disgrace and a robbing of your freedom, helplessness, and living in sin below the standard of heaven.

The kingdom is yours, the power is yours, the glory has gotten given, and all perfect gifts are yours. If you acknowledge who you are and allow God into your heart.
