QUEEN VASHTI



Queen Vashti must have been prim and proper. She kept well to do her duties to the king. When you called her a queen, she carried herself as that but nothing else. The King did not find fault in the administering of her position.

But the king gets surrounded by subordinates with fickle minds and no value for the queen. All he wanted was to fulfill the lust of his flesh.

Drinks get served in golden vessels of different kinds, and the royal wine was lavish according to the bounty riches of the king. And the drinking was according to the king's edict. The King gave orders to all the staff of his palace to do as each man desired.
Esther 1:7

With this kind of liberty, the king himself became drunk. He could not see why queen Vashti should refuse to dance before the drunks and be a nonentity.

It was so saddening that she had to lose the throne cause of her refusal to follow the king's instructions. But I am more concerned that the king could not punish her. until he asked the seven Princes of Persia and the Media to search for the punishment. as written in the book of the law, on what to administer to Queen Vashti.

It was in the law in Esther 1:15-18
-Her disobedience is not only against the king. she has insulted the whole leaders and people in king Xerxes' provinces
-Her action will make the other women of the province treat their husbands with contempt and no control.
-The country will get filled with angry women that will disobey.

Many times the enemy of our father, who also happens to be our enemy. Always in search of legal reasons to afflict us. He knows you get saved by the blood of Jesus. Most times, when people of God allow the shield of protection to get removed. It allowed the enemy gets to strike.

The Legal reasons against you might be your disobedience. It might be your continuous living in sins. Also, when you refuse to keep the commandments. The old traditions have kept you under the punishments of the enemy. Your walk in the flesh. Unforgiveness, hatred, greed, and pride.

You can be free from this punishment from the pit of hell. Live in OBEDIENCE TO GOD AND HIS WORD. They are what Jesus died for,

He has borne our griefs and sorrows, yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten.
But he gets pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities. Upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds, we get healed. Isaiah53:4&5.
