STOP TALKING about MORE WORKS but shows WHAT WORKS.
A seasoned procurement officer was so downcast on one of my visits. She argues that the management kept emphasizing methods and a systematic approach to sales. But the business environment will not be able to thrive.
There are no products on the shelves. Vendors that supply and keep businesses going refuse to respond to their call. They are being owned and cannot continue to do supply business. Refusing payment for goods already supplied and sold.
So this is a practical episode of more talk on work but refusing to act or make provision for what works.
Human being believes in exacting energy and getting known for hard work. We are in the age of working smart. The authority and leaders' first responsibility to their staff and followers are to create and give the necessary tools to do the task.
It will be unreasonable if the authority keeps loading the agents with problems that pertain to insecurity in the country. At the same time refuses to equip that department.
It is high time we move into practice. More intentional talk in all spheres of life. We should stop parading the agenda rather than go into the action of accomplishing them.
