After attending the Gitex Africa 2023, it gets dawn on me that there are lots and lots of talent, ideas, skills, and innovations that solve problems cropping up every day in Africa. Our poor lifestyles have made us think of ways, services, and products that will improve our standard of living. To look for solutions that will enhance lifestyle, business, and country.

So as Africans and humanity. The only person that deserves your competition is yourself. When you see the skill your fellow is bringing to the table, you look at what you have. You have to sharpen yours to be more innovative.

It does not make any sense if you have to worry your head over another person's hard skills. And to have a sleepless night on how to harm or pull another down. Because his skill is gained feasible than yours does not mean to fret, there are floodgates of innovation.

Your human skills help you become a better person to your other humans. Listening, being compassionate, and accommodating other weaknesses to help improve. These skills are in you. It only requires some sacrifice from your end.

These skills make a good leader. It allows you to lead that one person in your community on the right path. The school prefect needs it. Politicians. The marketplace community will appreciate it if you can own and harness these skills. There will be advancement in our society.

Your hard skills make your business different from another. That one skill that makes you do your job with efficiency that sets you apart. Your skills create employment. It enables you to render good services and innovative products that make life easier. The only person you compete with should be yourself.

There is an inflow of creativity out there. Only look inwards. You're with one. You are good at something. Wake up from a redundancy attitude. Dust your hat of creativity to start. There is no need for bitterness or sabotaging. No need to frustrate those coming up now but give the support required. In doing. You find your innovative skills.
