LOYALTY
Loyalty is gotten painted with different colors. It ought to be a free will. Individuals should be attached to a course or an idea. Its purpose should contribute to the growth of an organization, people, and society. It's supposed to be voluntary, not forced.
It has now become a menace where loyalty gets exchanged for financial reward and used to drive allegiance. The danger of such an act will plague society. People get to choose between being loyal to the genuine performance of a leader or their pockets.
An idea can be so good that you decide to be loyal to it. You do not need to create one if you are not creative to that extent. You can choose to adopt one that fits into what you believe. With a thorough study, it might be worth your support.
Loyalty should be what an individual must not be coarse to give. Because for every signal of agreement you make. It either makes a better society, or it might be supporting a wrong course that might deteriorate the state of a matter.
Loyalty should be mutual. Any organization that demands the employees to be loyal should inspire them. The leaders must commit to the welfare and growth of the people who work in the organization. This model will spur the workforce to give the unrelenting loyalty.
Politicians, most times, always move in camps within their system. The party leaders always expect their followers to show some level of loyalty. Due to the pressure put on such people, society ends up having succession with no opinion of their own. Leaders that only follow suit without analyzing the process that leads to outcome.
This and more keeps making room for the mediocre to rule the wise. It is of good course if you wake up and choose right for yourself and your family. Leaders decide a way forward for organizations, society, and the nation. It will be good when you weigh your level of loyalty on the scale and see if it's tilting more into pleasing an individual or looking for the long-term growth and stability of the people.
Leaders should not demand loyalty from followers. Leaders should earn by the way they perform their leadership skills.
