LIMITLESS MONDAY : DO YOU ONLY HAVE EYES FOR EXPERTS

LIMITLESS MONDAY
DO YOU ONLY HAVE EYES FOR EXPERTS

A senior Marine officer has an officer known to be an expert in parking the submarine. He uses the guy from time to time and it's very satisfying. But one day he thought, what if this guy gets sick and cannot do it? That means the whole Naval base will get stranded.

He decided to make use of another officer to give it a try. The officer parked it once but it was bad, he did it again and did it again. After some time he got it right. He went to the third officer who also parked it but did it many times until he was good at it.

The question is whether you will allow your subordinates and new intakes to take up a job or duty known to get handled very well by your known staff.

Also, will you be patient enough to let the new guy fail so much until such one becomes good?

You lose a patriotic staff to an impatient attitude. A brilliant and success-driven new staff that hides behind shyness and timidity. Such one only requires you to be willing to give opportunities. Such staff only want you to assist in walking through the teething period.

Most of the time training, you could determine how long it will take to teach your child how to ride a bicycle. As a parent, you cannot resist seeing your child riding one. So you keep at it until the Lesson is thorough. Patience is the key.
