There is something about this millennial. Gen Z, the alpha, beta generation will not condone And that is an empty promise from any set of bodies. Be it government. parastatals. leadership, or any association or person who chooses to be the leader.
It will only take some sections of meetings before they detect whether you are serious. Immediately they find out it's a fallacy, a 360-degree turn they will take. My take is that they are not even the turn it's given them their immediate desires. They will want to leave your vicinity.
Some young creatives work with a media organization. It has middle managers who oversee the affairs. Unfortunately, they do not communicate the vision and missions.
The coach training the staff had. provides management the opportunity to see how bad its leadership had been. A section of question and answers gets passed during training to enable them to know the state of things
Despite a united complaint by the creatives to the management. No response came back to their demands rather the managers regarded it as a flip in the pan. Within one month, a whole team on a project left the organization for a better opportunity.
The time has changed. These millennials are not joking. They get focused and determined to achieve their goal. The demand for their skill is high. Our Leaders should wake up, this generation means business,
