LIMITLESS MONDAY
TRUST IS THE CURRENCY IN THE MARKETPLACE
On Easter Saturday, one of the stores I supplied goods to called to request a supply. I promised to be there on Easter Sunday after the service. The store manager exclaimed, "I do not believe you would come."
I told him my word is my bond and that I will not say what I will not do. This line of integrity has become scarce in the marketplace now. Business people have pointed out that LIE gets accustomed to business. And there is nothing wrong with that.
That lifestyle is not the rule of the game in business. When your business partners and associates cannot trust you, you will be left behind in their circle, little by little.
Trust is the currency that keeps the relationship going, which promotes continuous business deals in the corporate office. When you are immediately found not to keep time or fail to turn up as agreed, and use delay tactics in fulfilling your part of the agreement. Be assured, you will fade away, and another will take your place.
Trust is the fabric that ties business owners together. No man is an island. Immediately, you're found wanting in the area of trust. The alternative is always the answer. Trust is the currency that you take to the market. That keeps you from patronizing one product over another. But if it is not found to be so, people bow out without looking back.
No second chance is given to organisations whose trust base amounts to nothing. If what I order is not what I see, the doors of patronage to such enterprises get closed. The news will go miles, and the business owners won't be able to defend their cause for the mistakes.
Business people like startups, corporations, and career-oriented personnel. Guide your loins of truth with all diligence; you cannot afford to fail. To get approved again in the presence of that same person or organization in the marketplace might be unavailable.
Trust is the relationship that keeps the relationship going.. This has made me see trust from a different perspective and to be more committed in ensuring I keep my words. Thank you ma
