LIMITLESS MONDAY : WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU DELEGATED?

LIMITLESS MONDAY
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU DELEGATED?

Delegation is the act of empowering another person to perform a specific activity. This is to enable the manager to assume a more challenging role that will enhance productivity and increase revenue
Delegating amounts to giving control or authorization to a subordinate to act on behalf of the company.

Most of the time, what we found is that managers don't delegate. And it leads to sloppy achievement. What could have taken a day to accomplish is resulting in waiting for weeks on end because you are waiting for the boss to carry out the assignment.

Micromanaging is the sister of non-delegation. These acts kill the business. It shortens the expansion rate, it cripples growth and causes unnecessary delay.

Being a control freak is the major reason why delegation becomes very difficult for someone to attain. The value of a man does not decrease because you gave control or power away to a staff member. It only shows that you are a confident, reliable, and non-power-driven person, but a success

It reduces waste and establishes great rapport among staff and management. It encourages critical thinking, which brings the creative problem-solving skill in you.

Delegation will not be real if you still dictate how the work should be carried out, or if you still ask your delegatee to come back for direction before any decision-making.

Trust is the bedrock of delegation..There is no need to feel inferior, thinking another person might outshine you. Your remuneration will not be reduced, nor will your title lose potency, because you delegate.

Managers should put the interest of their company at heart, considering that growth for the company is the growth for all.
