ABILITY TO RESIST
The Oxford dictionary has an interesting meaning. It's written as being able to withstand the action or effect of something you do not want. Refrain from doing something tempting or unwise.
As a human being, you are more than what you think you are. The Ability of a God resides in you. You can say no to any vices that plague your body and spirit. You have been lifted to that level when you are created because you are in His image.
Some antibodies help us resist infections that are trying to invade our system.
You are superior to every other thing created by God. You are special, you are powerful, you have the strength to resist and apply wisdom. Yet, some of us are lagging. It's not that they are inferior. It's because they refuse to yield to the control room where the signals originate.
You become liable to all bad vices; you lose signal when you are not connected to the server. Your life becomes a laughing stock to the enemy when you stray from the secret place.
Dwelling in that secret place will make you abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Your resistance ability gets strengthened the more you remain. Batteries lose energy when they are used. Either they get recharged or they are completely discharged. Stop fighting your maker. He is your keeper. Surrender!!
Do you think you have all it takes to fight the enemy of God? Who has existed before you? Were they created on your strength? What makes you think your wisdom, intellectual position, and affluence are respected in the world of the enemy? The Master said Without me, you can do nothing.
You are only respected when you carry glory and demonstrate your ability to resist temptation. Buddy, wake up to reality, seek your maker early, when He can be found, and stop being a prey in the hands of the wicked. You are complete only in Him. There is enough for all who ask. The profit of the earth is for all. Moreover, the profit of the land is for all; even the king gets served from the field. Eccl5:9.
