WEIGHTIER MATTERS
We need to have a family meeting, guys. We are here for a purpose, a reason, a job to carry out. So were the Pharisees, scribes were also called, but neglected all the duties
We are reading about them today so that we can have a retrospective action. Allow us to be guided by it. But it seems we are falling into the same pit. They neglected the weightier matters of the law, justice, mercy, and faithfulness.
You are in that same category today. You are blind to living a righteous life, faithfulness to God, and His calling. You thought giving your thoughts superseded living an obedient life.
You clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but the inside is dirty, full of greed and self-indulgence. You cannot tarry with Jesus for one hour. Why not take care of your relationship first? Being sure you get fired up, on track to your destiny.
Clean the cup from the inside. Alignment can only be found in obedience. Clean up the uncleanness. Stop appearing righteous. But within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness towards the word of God.
You can do better than the scribes and Pharisees. We are no longer under law, but we got saved by faith through grace. So you can come without fear to the throne of grace to get grace to help in times of need.
Come unto him all ye that are laboring and heavy laden. He will give you rest. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and will direct your path. Lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge him in all your ways, and you will not fail.
You are stronger than you think. He that is in you is stronger than it in the world. Holy Ghost, our helper, is ahead to keep us in all your ways. Welcome Him and allow his leading to take preeminence, and will direct your path.
There are weightier matters in the kingdom to attend to. To see the kingdom get established. Build capacity through prayer and fasting. Take your position in the rank. Do not break it. Do your part by the leading of the Holy Ghost. And you will not be wanting.
