Language can be a barrier if not understood. The greatest language in business is understanding your customer’s language. A skill that requires harnessing. Many speak, but few connect. It is simple to speak, but it takes a lot of energy to move people. Organizational success depends on how you understand your customer's language.


The theory that if you help people get what they want, they will help you get what you want is true. Connecting is about the other person. You have to pay attention to what will grow your customer. Do not keep watch over your numbers above all. Put effort into taking care of those that make the numbers grow. It takes a lot of patience to connect.


A customer comes to your organization with the intention of getting results and making progress. The ability to go first and ask how you can help goes a long way. Win the day is not about winning first but winning altogether.
